If you died today, are you 100% sure you’d go to Heaven?
The Bible teaches that reaching Heaven is not merely about living a good life or being a decent person.
In Romans 3:23, it states, “For all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory.”
Why Do We Need Salvation?
Sin is a fundamental issue that separates us from God. It creates a barrier between us and Christ, leading to spiritual death
and separation from His presence. The consequences of sin are serious, Romans 6:23 tells us, “For the wages of sin is death.”
This isn’t just physical death, it refers to eternal separation from God, a state of spiritual emptiness and despair.
However, the good news is that God offers a solution. Salvation is a free gift. It cannot be earned through good deeds or personal merit.
Instead, it comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Romans 6:23 says, “but the free gift of God is eternal life through
Christ Jesus our Lord.” This highlights that despite our failures, God extends His grace to us.
How Can We Be Saved?
The pathway to salvation is clearly laid out in Scripture. Acts 16:31 states, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.”
This simple yet profound directive emphasizes faith as the key to receiving God's gift of salvation. It involves
recognizing Jesus as the Son of God who died for our sins and trusting in Him for forgiveness and eternal life.
Why is This Important?
Understanding our need for salvation transforms our perspective on life and death. It offers hope, purpose, and a
relationship with God. Embracing this gift means accepting that we cannot do it on our own but rely on
Jesus’ sacrifice to restore our relationship with God.
