West Millen Baptist Church seeks to provide a safe and secure environment for the children who participate in our programs and activities. By implementing the below practices, our goal is to protect the children of West Millen Baptist Church, while also protecting our leaders and volunteers. This policy is for all Youth Ministries here at West Millen Baptist Church.
The Youth ministry of West Millen Baptist Church consists of children ranging in ages from 6th grade through the completion of the 12th grade.
Children must be dropped off by a parent/guardian. A parent or guardian must leave their name, the child's name, allergies, contact number, and any special instructions. If another person is picking up the child, the parent or guardian must give the designated pick-up person‘s name and phone number.
Children ages sixteen and up may drive themselves to youth with the permission of a parent or guardian. The child must leave their parent or guardian’s name, their name, allergies, contact number, and any special instructions.
On Wednesday nights, parents may begin dropping off their children at 5:30 PM.
Children must be dropped off by an adult in the social hall.
Children will only be released to parents, grandparents, or specified guardians at 7:00 PM.
Parents and kids are welcome to attend Prayer Meeting at 7:00 PM. If you are not attending Prayer Meeting, please have your child picked up by 7:00 PM. If you are running late, please contact one of our leaders or volunteers. If you do not contact a leader or volunteer and your child is not picked up in by 7:30 PM, a church leader will contact local authorities on how to move forward for the safety of your child.
For Sunday School or any other activities and events, children must be picked up at the designated time. Our leaders or volunteers can provide you with a time of pick-up. If you are running late, please contact one of our leaders or volunteers. If you do not contact a leader or volunteer and your child is not picked up within thirty minutes of the designated pick-up time, a church leader will contact local authorities on how to move forward for the safety of your child. If your child is attending Sunday School, we encourage you to attend one of our adult classes. A leader or volunteer can direct you to a Sunday School class. Children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by an adult during church services.
